Delivery Schedules Configuration

Delivery and availability schedules work together to decide the first available delivery date for an order. The system finds the earliest date that meets three conditions:

  • Delivery schedule: the days on which a customer can receive an order, including any cut-off times.
  • Availability schedule: the production or preparation time a product needs before it can ship. This is also called a product delivery schedule.
  • Exceptions: block or change specific dates, such as public holidays.
For Example

If a product is ready on Tuesday but the customer can only receive orders on Wednesday, the first available delivery date is Wednesday.

Which Delivery Schedule Applies?โ€‹

  1. The system uses the customer's delivery schedule.
  2. If the customer has no delivery schedule, it uses the webshop delivery schedule configured for the relevant country.
  3. You can also block specific days on the customer using Not Delivery Days.
  4. A delivery schedule with Overrule Customer working-days enabled ignores those blocked days and follows the schedule instead.

How Stock affects Availabilityโ€‹

An availability schedule can check stock before applying the production or preparation lead time.

When Check Stock Available is enabled and there is enough stock for the ordered quantity, the system skips this lead time and uses the applicable delivery schedule. If there is insufficient stock, the availability schedule applies.

Splitting orders by delivery dateโ€‹

When products in one basket have different delivery dates, the webshop can be configured to group them by delivery date and split the order accordingly.

The customer places one order. The system then sends a separate order to the ERP for each delivery date.
