Delivery Services

To work with delivery services, in the CloudSuite App go to Order Management > Configuration > Delivery Services. An overview appears, listing all delivery services that have already been defined. Double-click an existing delivery service to open its details or click New to create a new one.

General

• The Name is for internal use and is not visible to your customers.
• For Base calculation, select the criteria for the calculations that will be used to decide which delivery service line (see below) is active. There are two options:
  • Amount: Calculations are based on the order amount.
  • Quantity: Calculations are based on the quantity of a certain product added to the order. This rule can only be used for a delivery service configured on products.
• The Delivery Service with the highest Priority is active when multiple delivery services are available for one order (see further down.)
• When Configured Countries is checked, only certain countries are allowed, as specified in the shop configuration. (These are visible under Allowed Countries in the Shop Access tab in the shop details.)
• The Check Volume & Weight option is only visible when the EAN module is installed for your shop. If you are interested in using this feature, please contact your consultant or Customer Support.

Delivery Services and Their Priorities

When a basket contains products with different delivery services, the service with the highest priority decides which delivery applies to the whole order. The priority runs from Low (the lowest) to Action (the highest).

Example: a battery can only be picked up in the store, and that delivery service has the highest priority. The basket also holds two products that can be delivered at home, with a lower priority. When the customer places the order, all products in the basket must be picked up in the store.

Delivery services are applied only when they are added to the shop configuration.

Delivery Service Lines

A delivery service line sets when a delivery option applies and how its cost is calculated. Add a line with the plus icon and remove one with the minus icon.

• Name is the text shown to the customer in the basket for this delivery option.
• Continent restricts the line to a continent. Use Continent or Country on a line, not both.
• Country restricts the line to a country.
• Subdivision restricts the line to a region or state within a country.
• Postal Code From and Postal Code To restrict the line to a postal code range.
• Minimum value and Maximum value set the order value range in which the line applies.
• Minimum weight, Maximum weight, Minimum volume, and Maximum volume set weight and volume ranges. These fields need the product EAN module.
• Product is the service product that calculates the delivery cost.
• Extra Description is extra text that can be shown to the customer in the webshop next to the product description.
• Special Type selects a different order workflow: Pick up from Outlet, Transfer order to Wholesaler, or Dropshipment. Leave it empty for a normal delivery.
• Carrier is the carrier for this line. The carrier provides the track and trace link and the export code.
• Delivery Schedule overrules the shop delivery schedules for this line.
• Free Shipping lets external systems select this line as free shipping, based on their parameters.
• Delivery options Group can be used for skipping options, when an option with the same group is already available.
• Catch all for Group makes this line available for selection if no options with the same group are available. It needs a Delivery options Group.
