PIM (Product Information Management)
The CloudSuite Product Information Manager (PIM) allows populating products with "rich" content, such as product images, videos, properties, and descriptions. This content is essential to explain all details of the products to your shop visitors and customers. CloudSuite PIM is multilingual. Each field can be translated into different languages, including those using non-Latin characters.
CloudSuite PIM can be fed from different sources for your product data using the CloudSuite Product API.
๐๏ธ Products
Products are usually included in CloudSuite through integration with your ERP system. You can then enrich the product details for CloudSuite-specific functionality.
๐๏ธ Catalogs
Catalogs are the basis for managing your product data. A catalog is a collection of products linked to certain shops, parties, party groups or users. If you sell on multiple platforms, catalogs let you define your product data and assortment for each channel and/or target group separately.

๐๏ธ Categories
Categories are used to link price-related aspects such as taxes and discounts to products. Categories classify products for internal management and financial reporting. Unlike product trees, which are used for shop navigation, categories focus on accounting and data organisation.
๐๏ธ Product Assets
Product assets are media files that are linked to a product for display on product-related pages in your shops.
๐๏ธ PIM Types
PIM types define how products are structured. You use them to set a default product name, assign attributes, and manage translations for multiple products at once.

๐๏ธ Using Catalogs
Catalogs affect the products and therefore the trees which are presented before and after login. Catalogs can be linked to shops, customers, and users.
๐๏ธ Product Configuration
Some key settings can be configured to customize the behavior of multiple functions related to products, interfacing and pricing.
๐๏ธ Product Categories
To manage product categories, in the CloudSuite App, go to PIM > Categories (tree) > Categories (list). An overview appears, listing all existing categories.
๐๏ธ Product eCommerce Details
The eCommerce tab in the product details determines many aspects of the presentation, visibility, availability, and pricing of products in your shop. Take care to enter the details in this tab so that they work together as you intended, and always test before publishing.
