Delivery Services
To work with delivery services, in the CloudSuite App go to Order Management > Configuration > Delivery Services. An overview appears, listing all delivery services that have already been defined. Double-click an existing delivery service to open its details or click New to create a new one.
General
- The Name is for internal use and is not visible to your customers.
- For Base calculation, select the criteria for the calculations that will be used to decide which delivery service line (see below) is active. There are two options:
- Amount: Calculations are based on the order amount.
- Quantity: Calculations are based on the quantity of a certain product added to the order. This rule can only be used for a delivery service configured on products.
- The Delivery Service with the highest Priority is active when multiple delivery services are available for one order (see further down.)
- When Configured Countries is checked, only certain countries are allowed, as specified in the shop configuration. (These are visible under Allowed Countries in the Shop Access tab in the shop details.)
- The Check Volume & Weight option is only visible when the EAN module is installed for your shop. If you are interested in using this feature, please contact your consultant or Customer Support.
Configuring Delivery Service Lines
Delivery Lines are used to set different rules or ranges within the Delivery Service. For example:
- Line 1: €5.00 delivery costs for an order between €0.01 and €9.99.
- Line 2: €2.50 delivery costs for an order between €10.00 and 19.99.
- Line 3: Free shipping for all orders from €20.00.
The option to add delivery lines is enabled when the Delivery Service is saved. You can add a line by clicking on the plus icon in the top right of the line field.

The Name of the line is the text shown in the basket for delivery costs.

You can configure a delivery service line for a specific Continent, Country, Subdivision or Postal Code range; based on the customer's Delivery Address.

Minimum/Maximum Value: Enter the desired range for the delivery service line. This is used to calculate which line is active in the order. Depending on the Base Calculation set for the Delivery Service, enter the range of the order amount for this line, or of the order quantity. (Bear in mind that delivery costs may be visible in an empty basket when the minimum amount is 0.00. To avoid this, set the minimum amount to 0.01).

Select a service Product for this delivery service. You can choose an existing service product or create a new one.

The text entered as the Extra Description can be displayed in the webshops besides the product description.

Optionally, you can select a Special Type of delivery such as Express delivery or delivery at a Pick-up point.

The Type of Service will be used for automatic selection of a new service with the same type when the customer changes his/her delivery address.

Optionally, select the desired Carrier for this delivery line.

The Delivery Schedule specified here will overrules the delivery schedules of the shop.

A Delivery options Group can be used to activate the configured delivery service for a group of locations. When a group has been specified, you can check Catch all for Group to set the delivery service line as the default one for the group: the one that is used when none of the other options in the delivery options group apply to the shipping address the customer provides during checkout.

Free shipping: Allows external systems to select this option based on their parameters.
Delivery Services and Their Priorities
When there are different products in a shopping basket, the product with the delivery service that has the highest priority is leading. The highest priority is Action and the lowest priority is Low.
Example: Say that a certain battery can only be picked up in the store, and that this is also the delivery service with the highest priority. Now assume that a shopping basket contains this battery plus 2 more products that can be delivered at home; but delivery at home has a lower priority. When a customer places the order, all products in the shopping basket will have to be picked up in the store.
Delivery services are applied only when they are added to the shop configuration.
