Create a Sales Center User

In the Sales Center environment, a Sales Center user can quickly enter orders for customers without going through the webshop, as described on the Sales Center Module page. In the webshop, a Sales Center user can also take over and check out a customer's basket if their Sales Center user role allows it.

You configure Sales Center User Management in the CloudSuite App.

Take over and check out baskets

The Sales Center module includes the option to take over and check out baskets on behalf of a customer. What a user can do is set by their Sales Center user role. To let the user take over and check out a customer's active basket, a feature that runs in the webshop, give them a role that allows confirming baskets taken over from customers.

Prerequisites

  • The Sales Center module is active for your shop. Sales Center users are licensed per user. To enable the module, contact your CloudSuite implementation partner.
  • The person already exists as an eCommerce user and is authorised for the customers whose baskets they can open. For information about creating users and authorising customer accounts, see Users eCommerce.
  • You need admin rights to enable Can confirm overtaken baskets for a Sales Center user role. Admin rights are not required to assign a role that already has this permission enabled.

Give the user Sales Center rights

  1. In the CloudSuite App, go to Customers > Users > Users eCommerce
  2. Open the eCommerce user
  3. Go to the Advanced tab
  4. From the Internal User drop-down, select Internal User & Edit rights Sales Center.
  5. In User Role Sales Center, select the Sales Center user role for the user. This field appears after you select Internal User & Edit rights Sales Center.
  6. To let the user confirm baskets taken over from customers, select a role for which Can confirm overtaken baskets is enabled.
  7. Click Save.
