Linking Documents to a Shipment
End users can see deliveries per order in My account. CloudSuite lets you enhance the My Account environment with the option to link documents such as packing slips from the ERP system and made them available for download.
The documents are not stored on a CloudSuite server and must therefore be reachable via a public URL or by using basic authentication on your own server. In the case of downloading using a web service, this service has to be configured.
-
In the CloudSuite App go to Other Services > Web Services and click New to create a new web service.
-
When entering the web service details, pay attention to the following.
- As the Type of Service, choose Internal.
- To link the web service to the shop, the Environment must be Production. If testing is required, configure the related test service separately.
- When authentication is needed, select the Type of authorization. Note that OAUTH is not yet available.
- In the URL, the document_id variable will be replaced by the ID recorded for a particular document in the shipment details (tab Track and Trace, Documents overview).
-
Save the web service, then In the CloudSuite App go to Stores > Shops and open your webshop.
-
In the Order Settings tab, link the new web service to the shop in the field Webservice for Shipment Documents.
