Filter Wizard

A filter wizard guides the shopper to the right product in an easy and intuitive way. It is linked to a tree and takes over a standard PLP, replacing the PLP's contents. The filters are show at the top of the page and there are no filter facets to the left of the products list. The filters will guide the visitor to the right product for their needs.

To work with filter wizards, in the CloudSuite App go to Marketing > Search and Navigation. An overview appears, listing all filter wizards that have already been defined. Double-click an existing wizard to open its details or click New to create a new one.

The filter wizard will be Assigned to a Tree. At a later stage, more types of filter wizard will be available.

  • Enter the Name of the wizard. This will be visible to shop visitors, and can be translated.
  • Any Description that you enter will also be visible to shop visitors, and can be translated.
  • The Filter Result Sort Mode is the field on which the results of the wizard will be sorted.
  • The Filter Result Sort Direction is the direction in which the results of the wizard will be sorted.

Filters​

In this tab, a list is maintained of the filters that together make up the wizard. The filters you can use have the same requirements as the regular filters on a PLP.

  • The Name of the filter will be visible to shop visitors, and can be translated.
  • A Sequence number gives control over the order in which filters are applied. Filters with higher sequence numbers are applied later. This makes it possible to really guide the visitor in making the correct choices.
  • Under Filter Types, the only choice available is Property.
  • Select the Property to filter on.
  • Next to Property Display Type, choose Default to display the property as text only or choose Image to show the associated image with the text.
  • The Property Sort Mode is the field on which the filter property values will be sorted.
  • The Property Sort Direction is the direction in which the filter property values will be sorted.

Default Filters​

In this tab, select the Trees to which the wizard is assigned.
