Customer Segments
Customer segments are used to identify customers for whom you want certain products to be placed higher on search and navigation pages than others (personalized recommendations). They are also used to make certain parts of webshop pages visible only to those customers (personalized content).
Customer segments are part of the Modified Ranking feature of our Relevance and Recommendations Module. In order to enable this functionality, please contact your consultant or Customer Support.
To work with customer segments, in the CloudSuite App go to Search and Navigation > Relevance > Customer Segments. An overview appears, listing all customer segments that have already been defined. Double-click an existing segment to open its details or click New to create a new one.
- Enter the Name of the customer segment, for internal reference.
- Is Archived is checked, the segment will not be active.
