Brands
Product brands are usually included in CloudSuite through integration with your ERP system. You can then enrich the brand details for CloudSuite-specific functionality.
To work with product brands, in the CloudSuite App go to PIM > Attributes > Product Brands. An overview appears, listing all brands that have already been defined. Double-click an existing brand to open its details or click New to create a new one.
- The Name of the brand will be visible to shop visitors.
- If Custom Slug is checked, you can define your own text that can be used in the URL of the brand page rather than on the brand name. On checking the box, the field Slug becomes editable. This can be translated.
- The Path Logo tells CloudSuite where to find the image that is used as the logo for the brand. Click Upload Image if the image is not already available in the DAM. If it is already made available in the DAM, make sure that you enter the path to the uploaded file.
- If Top Brand is checked, the brand can appear in a specially-styled container in the webshop.
- If Top Brand Supply Selector is checked, the brand can appear near the top in the webshop's Supply Selector.
- The Priority determines the order in which the brand will be shown in a search or on a list page.
- To improve SEO settings, you may enter the Page Title, the Meta Description and the URL feed. All can be translated. The description is visible to search engines but not to the customer.
- If Skip generate Product Name is checked, the brand will be skipped for generating product names per PIM type.
- The Description is usually shown to the shop visitors. To be able to display a second descriptive text, enter a Description 2. Both can be translated
