Page Slugs
The URLs of the pages in your website may not be all be as SEO-friendly as you might wish. To address this, you can modify the URL format using a slug (also called a mapping).
To work with page slugs in the CloudSuite Admin, go to URL Routing > Page Slugs. An overview appears, listing all page slugs that have already been defined. Click an existing slug to open its details or click Create Mapping to create a new one.
- Under Path, enter the text that should appear after the shop part of the URL (the slug or mapping). Do not start or end with a slash.
- Optionally, select the Shop for which the slug is defined. Note that a slug for a particular shop takes precedence over the same one where no shop has been specified.
- In a multilingual shop, choose the Language for which the slug is defined.
- Under Destination, select the CloudSuite Admin page that the slug is defined for.
- From the Options menu, select Save to save your edits.
The new or changed slug definition will not be immediately visible in the webshop. To see your changes in the shop immediately, select Rebuild URL Mappings and Clear All Cache in the Debug Tools in the CloudSuite App.
note
URL mappings (slugs) can also be maintained in the CloudSuite App.
