Segment Groups

If the Modified Ranking feature of our Relevance and Recommendations Module has been activated, you can link one or more customer segments to a customer. These customer segments are then used for personalized recommendations.

In addition, customer segments can be used to determine the visibility of widgets on your pages. If the same combination of segments is used to determine the visibility of widgets in multiple pages, you can create segment groups for easier maintenance.

To work with segment groups, in the CloudSuite Admin go to Settings > Segment Groups. An overview appears, listing all segment groups that have already been defined. Click an existing group to open its details or click Create Group to create a new one.

  1. Enter the Group name, for internal reference.
  2. Check the Segments that are part of the group. (These are defined in the CloudSuite App.)
