Event Groups
Event groups (such as Fairs, Training events, Workshops) combine events, so that they can be presented together. Each individual event has a start date and an end date, which can be used to group or list the events within the webshop. On group level you can indicate if events remain visible when the end date has passed.
Each event group can have its own design and is added as a widget to the webshop theme.
To work with event groups, in the CloudSuite Admin go to Blog > Event Groups. An overview appears, listing all event groups that have already been defined. Click an existing group to open its details or click Create Group in the top right corner to create a new one.
- Before you continue, make sure you are working in the correct language.
- Enter the event group's Name and Description. Depending on your shop's design, these may be visible to shop visitors.
- Under Options, you may choose to Hide Past Events in this group from being listed.
