Clearing Platform Caches: Debug Tools

The caches for different components of the CloudSuite platform should be cleared automatically as part of regular platform maintenance. However, in certain situations, you might need more control over specific cache elements. You can clear the caches of the platform whenever it becomes necessary.

To access this functionality, make sure that you are logged in to the CloudSuite Admin, then navigate to the Debug page in the CloudSuite App.

The following cache-clearing actions can be taken:

  1. Rebuild URL Mappings: This action is particularly handy for making immediate changes to URL mappings. It ensures that any adjustments you have made to the way URLs are mapped will take effect right away.
  2. Clear All Cache: While this option is available, it is important to exercise caution. Clearing all caches wipes out the entire in-memory cache and can significantly slow down your site's performance. Use this option sparingly: consider clearing specific caches instead.
  3. Clear Cache by Subject: To minimize the impact on page load times, you can clear caches individually. Clear no more caches than necessary. If you find that you have to clear caches frequently, you may wish to file a support ticket to address any underlying issues.
