Exclude Products from Discount Coupons

You can exclude certain products from promotions with discount coupons. It is important to stress that when an excluded product is in the shopping basket, the discount will not be applied to this product. This ensures a clear and fair application of discounts.

This only works for products (discount coupons) where the Type is set to Service.

Find the coupon product

1. In the CloudSuite App, go to PIM > Products.
2. Open the product with the coupon code.
3. Go to the tab Order Cost.
4. Make sure the box behind Percentage Product is checked.
5. Below you see the field Exclude Tags Cost rules.

Create a tag

1. Go to PIM > Attributes > Tags.
2. Click the New button.
3. Fill in a Name.
4. Go to the tab Products.
5. Add the products you want to exclude by clicking the + button.
6. Click the Save button near the top.

Exclude the product

1. Press the + button to add a Tag
2. Search for the Tag you just created.
3. Click the Save button near the top.

The tag is now connected to the product with the coupon code, meaning that the products in the tag will be excluded.
