๐๏ธ Creating a Service Product
Service products are 'pro forma' products, used for (positive or negative) additional order costs such as shipping costs or discounts.
๐๏ธ Demoting Products that are (Temporarily) Unavailable
The Relevance Module offers the possibility to place products that are (temporarily) unavailable lower in search results and category pages. If you are interested in using this feature, please contact your consultant or Customer Support.
๐๏ธ Excluding Products for Certain Customers
By default, a customer sees the catalogs defined in the shop details (Stores > Shops, then open the shop and go to the Catalogs tab). If you want to exclude certain products in a catalog for certain customers, you have the following options:
๐๏ธ Product Without Delivery Costs
You can configure a product so that customers do not pay delivery costs when the product is added to the order. This can be useful for products that do not require physical delivery, such as gift card codes or license keys.
๐๏ธ Troubleshooting: Why Can a Discontinued Product Still be Ordered?
Even if the Allow Backorders setting of a shop has not been set, it may still be possible for shop visitors to order a product. This is the case when for that particular product, the Out of Assortment value in the product details is set to No.
๐๏ธ Troubleshooting: Why is a Product not Visible in the Shop?
If a product is not visible in the shop, this can be for several reasons. Before creating a support ticket, check the suggestions described here.
๐๏ธ Linking a Tag to a Product
There are two ways to link a tag to a product. You can start from the tag and link the product, or you can start from the product and link the tag.
๐๏ธ Changing the Order of Categories in the Shop Tree
You can change the order of product trees within the shop tree. Note that this does not apply to modifications of custom menu items such as tag pages or custom links: to request such a change, create a ticket through your consultant.
