Bundles
With bundles, you sell several items in a combined promotional package. These items may be complementary or similar. This is a much-used feature that can increase your order value by selling more in the same order. When items are bundled from different product categories, it is also a way of cross-selling.
Once a bundle has been defined, you can no longer change its type. Before defining a bundle, you should be clear in your mind when the bundle must be activated and what exactly the customer benefit must be. Based on that analysis, determine which bundle to use.
๐๏ธ Creating a Cashback Bundle
The bundle type Special Action (Cash Back) is different from other bundles, in that it is not a discount bundle but a tag that identifies the product and is available at the PDP and PLP.
๐๏ธ Creating a Free Shipping Bundle
With the bundle type Free Shipping with Product in Basket, the shipping costs are set to zero when a specified quantity of one of a number of specified products is added to the basket.
๐๏ธ Creating a Give-Away Product Bundle
With the bundle types Premium Free Product with bought Product and Give away Product within the Order, a free give-away can be added to the basket. The difference is that with the first bundle type, the give-away is dependent on a particular product being ordered, while with the second one it is not.
๐๏ธ Creating a Mix Promotion Bundle
With various bundle types, a promotional offer (discount or free product) can be applied to products within a group. For example: 15% discount on all products of a specific brand.
๐๏ธ Creating a Simple Promotion with a Discount Bundle
With the bundle types Fixed Amount Discount and Percentage Discount, a discount can be given on a combination of products. The bundle consists of one or more so-called main products and a number of sub-products. When a main product is added to the basket, the complete bundle is offered to the customer at a discounted price. If multiple bundles have been defined on the main product, they will all be displayed on the PDP.
