Enable Apple Pay

You can offer Apple Pay as a payment method in your webshop. Your customers can then pay quickly using the payment details saved on their Apple device.

Apple Pay requires extra setup at your payment service provider before you can activate it in CloudSuite. The steps differ per provider, so follow the guide for your provider. Apple Pay is supported for Mollie, Stripe, and MultiSafepay. It is currently not available for other payment providers.

Before you start​

Before you set up Apple Pay, make sure that:

  • Your shop has an active payment service provider configuration. This is typically set up during onboarding.
  • Credit card payments are enabled in your payment service provider account. Apple Pay requires this.
  • Apple Pay is enabled in your payment service provider account.

How Apple Pay Works at Checkout​

Apple Pay is available to customers on Apple devices.

  • On Safari, the Apple Pay button appears automatically at checkout if the customer has Apple Pay set up on their device.
  • Customers without an Apple device or without Apple Pay configured on their device do not see the Apple Pay option at checkout.

Apple Pay is only available in a limited number of countries. This depends on the customer's country, not on yours.
