Shipping and Tracking Orders

Shipping is an important part of the complete order management process. CloudSuite provides all required functionalities to manage shipping on both the webshop side as in the admin section of your shop.

Delivery Options

During the implementation, you can configure per shop to which countries you allow deliveries from the shop. The next step is setting up delivery services and conditions.

During checkout, customers want to see all available shipping options including costs for the selected delivery address. Depending on the selected option and carrier, the delivery needs to be handled for preparation of either a (drop-)shipment or pick-up. An order can have multiple deliveries if you allow backorders or ship from multiple locations.

Shipments or Pick-up Services

Based on the configuration of delivery services, users will get an offering of delivery options. This can be delivery or pick-up at carrier locations or store locations (outlets).

CloudSuite supports two external service providers for providing shipment options and pick-up locations of carriers.

Shipping Information

During fulfillment of an order, single or multiple shipments can be created. These shipments and all related information can be synchronized with the CloudSuite platform:

  • Packing slips and IDs
  • External links to package shots and package numbers
  • Track & trace links to carriers for real-time tracking information
  • (Custom) status updates about the deliveries

Backorders

If dispatch advice or delivery data is synchronized with the CloudSuite platform, it is also possible to provide backorder information to customers in the webshop. Based on the received data, CloudSuite can present an overview of all products that are in backorder.
