Payments

The CloudSuite platform offers standard integrations with the market's most popular payment service providers (PSP). We support payment routing and processes between multiple providers and payment configurations in one environment.

For each shop, you can set up its own payment provider configuration, including the available payment methods, or use an embedded version for full flexibility. So if you have multiple shops, different payment providers can be selected.

Payment Terms

Payment terms define the conditions for payment that you can set at the customer level. For B2B shops, users often buy on account (30 days, 60 days), possibly get a fixed discount (2% discount over a set order amount), or need to pay orders directly online. In a B2C environment, it is usual for customers to pay online.

Some shops limit the number of online payment methods presented to a customer. You can set up any rules for a payment term you assign to a customer.

Partial Payments

If you allow partial payments, you can set a fixed percentage of the order amount that should be paid in advance. Also, customers can choose between full and partial payment of their orders.

Partial payments may depend on the selected delivery service. For instance, in case of delivery by your own transporter, your customer can make a partial payment; however, with an external courier service, this is not allowed.

Payment Methods

Payment methods are the payment options that you provide in your checkout. In international environments, it is key to offer payment methods that are mostly used in the country where you are selling. iDeal, for instance, is the standard payment method in the Netherlands, whereas Sofort is most common in Germany.

  • For each webshop, you can set a list of available payment methods. It is also possible to give customers a choice between paying on account or online payment.
  • For specific payment methods (e.g., credit card payments or afterpay options), you can add additional costs or discounts.

You can define the supported payment methods that you want to offer in your webshop, for each payment provider. It is also possible to set certain conditions that need to be met for providing a specific payment method to your customers such as:

  • Specific countries
  • Minimum and maximum amount
  • The payment term of your customer (typically B2B)

A payment method can overrule the payment term of a customer. This is a typical B2B feature. An example is a customer who can choose to pay on account or by direct debit.
