Dealer Service Points
Wholesalers and manufacturers frequently work with a network of service points or dealers who sell their products and offer support. By adding the option to select a dealer service point during the checkout process, you actually make your dealers part of your online strategy.
Involving your dealers in the online ordering process supports your dealer network by offering them an online channel for selling their products. Including your dealers in the webshop creates more traffic, resulting in additional orders - a win-win situation.
- Either the dealer places the order in the webshop or the (end) customer of the dealer places the order directly in the shop. By selecting a dealer, the order is automatically linked to the dealer service point during check out.
- The order and delivery are handled by the webshop. However, the service point is responsible for service and warranty. So the order is shipped directly to the end user.
- Optionally you can decide to set up a commission agreement for each order that is placed and linked to the dealer (handled outside the webshop).
