DeliveryMatch Integration

The DeliveryMatch integration connects CloudSuite with the DeliveryMatch Transport Management System (TMS) and replaces the standard shipping logic with a real-time calculation of delivery options in checkout.

Instead of relying on predefined rules, the system uses live data from the TMS to determine available shipping methods.

Use case

An international webshop works with multiple carriers per region, different pricing rules, and delivery exceptions across one or more shops. Managing this in CloudSuite quickly becomes complex.

With DeliveryMatch, everything is handled through one integration. Carriers, pricing, and exceptions are managed in one central place in DeliveryMatch, across all shops, without separate contracts or configurations.

This allows you to support complex, region-specific shipping setups while keeping the configuration manageable and consistent.

How it works

During checkout, the webshop sends the order details to DeliveryMatch.

Based on real-time data such as stock, warehouse locations, and carrier rules, the system returns delivery and pickup options. The webshop visitor selects a preferred method.

After the order is placed, the data is sent to DeliveryMatch, where shipping labels and documents are prepared automatically.

Key capabilities

  • Manage multiple carriers through a single connection.
  • Let your customers select a pickup location or parcel locker on a map during checkout.
  • Show estimated delivery dates based on stock, processing time, and carrier lead times.
  • Control the display order of pickup and delivery options.
  • Display CO₂ emissions for each delivery option.
  • Send order data to DeliveryMatch for automatic label and document creation.

Considerations

DeliveryMatch replaces part of the standard CloudSuite delivery logic. Because of this, it cannot be combined with specific configurations and features.

Not compatible with:

  • Dropshipments
  • Backorders with unknown or long delivery dates
  • Native delivery schedules
  • Native pickup (Outlet pickup)
  • Free delivery rules and upsell tips in the basket
  • Wholesaler transfers

Not supported in combination with:

  • Basket grouping (such as grouping by delivery date or partitioned catalogs).
  • External shipping cost calculations via ERP APIs.

Other considerations:

  • The integration is not available in the Sales Center.
  • Orders created via the API do not use DeliveryMatch logic.
