Email Templates
The CloudSuite platform offers various default email templates that are sent based on specific triggers.
You can create templates per shop and for each available language in both plain text and an HTML version that is used to show rich content.
Template Variables
By using variables, you can include almost any information also available in your order or user account such as product image, price, quantity, address information, delivery information. And by using the same house style, emails are easily identified as coming from your webshop.
Email Template Types
The following email templates are available by default:
- Order ( confirmation, canceled, needs authorization, rejected)
- Registration ( confirmation, new, activation account, includes all registration form fields)
- Login account ( retrieve email address and password)
- Payment ( confirmation, instructions, rejection)
- Shipment ( sent, track & trace, confirmation)
- Abandoned baskets ( saved baskets)
- Freeform e-mails
DKIM Security
Domain Keys Identified Mail, better known as DKIM, is used to reduce the risk that shop emails are marked as spam. It does so by adding a 'signature' to outgoing shop emails, which allows email clients to verify that the message has not been interfered with.
The advantage of using DKIM is that verified mails are less likely to be detected as spam and as a result, the percentage of emails that successfully arrive in your customer’s inbox increases.
