PIM Types

PIM types are used to group products and to set up workflows for importing and exporting the linked products.

Manage Product Attributes

For each PIM type, you can define a set of attributes or select one or more featured attributes that are automatically added to all products assigned to this PIM type during import or export to guarantee a consistent presentation of the products.

Create Product Name from Attributes

Another valuable feature is automatically generating a product name based on selected attributes and a prefix. For all products that are assigned to a PIM type, the product name can be automatically generated with the defined attribute values, e.g. brand and attributes.

To translate these automatically created product names, you only need to translate the attributes used and select the translations option.
