Accessibility (WCAG and EAA Compliance)

CloudSuite helps you build webshops that meet modern accessibility expectations. Our latest storefront templates are developed using the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, making it easier to serve all visitors and aligning with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), where applicable.

Accessibility in Mosaic Templates​

We continuously improve accessibility in our platform by:

  • Designing new Mosaic features with WCAG 2.1 in mind.
  • Adding accessibility updates to the latest versions of our templates.
  • Embedding accessibility in the design of future storefront themes.

We are currently working with an external partner to evaluate and improve how our platform supports accessibility, and to guide customers and partners where needed.

A Shared Responsibility​

While CloudSuite provides a strong foundation, compliance with WCAG and the EAA depends on how your shop is implemented.

  • Custom templates and partner work must also meet accessibility guidelines.
  • Third-party integrations and external add-ons are your responsibility to review.
  • The EAA applies only to B2C shops with an annual revenue greater than EUR 2 million.

For guidance, we recommend consulting a local accessibility expert and setting up an action plan.
